THE BOND Screening & Discussion with Kathleen & Stephen Gyllenhaal

Join us for the first screening of THE BOND in Los Angeles and meet the directors

THE BOND, designed for expectant parents, brings together experts from IN UTERO and the experiences of four women to gently weave a narrative of excitement, fear, drama and hard science that for the first time in a film delivers simple and clear answers on how to approach what is without question the most important time in all of our lives. THE BOND explores solutions that are informed by science, the experience of practitioners and doctors in the field, and the affirmation of common sense and love.

Summit Schedule

  • This is an incredible film and should be required viewing for all humans.

    Lisa Madison

  • Thank you for making this beautiful movie, and for having such amazingly warm, passionate, dedicated professionals talk about their passion for, and their research on babies, mothers, and adults. I agree that it is a movie that everyone should watch: it is necessary to understand ourselves, our world, and our relationships.

    Dominique Yárritu

  • Hearing these experts share their personal stories of trauma, for me, serves as a powerful awakener for the science community to humanize mental and emotional health, and prioritize our mothers and women in our world.

    Angelica Singh

    Embodied Transformation

  • The film sparked deep discussions about our culture, addiction, and about how we can heal intergenerational trauma. ‘In Utero’ is likely the most fascinating film that our audiences have seen in a decade.
